SaaS Destroyer Hackathon

Most companies pay five figures a year for software that is, underneath, a dashboard, a form and a database. That price made sense when building it took twenty engineers and two years. Not anymore.

SaaS Destroyer is a one-day hackathon to test that. Pick a B2B product with public pricing, rebuild the part that matters in eight hours, and work out what it costs to run.

No decks. No term sheets. You keep everything you build.

How it works

  1. Pick your target. A real B2B product with pricing you can look up.
  2. Start from an empty repo. Open source, models and coding agents are all fine. Code you wrote before today isn't.
  3. Show your numbers. Their yearly price, your yearly cost, and the gap between them.

FAQ

Who can enter?

Anyone who builds — students, dropouts, engineers, designers, people with day jobs. Entry is free. Come alone and we will help you find a team at 9:00.

Do I keep what I build?

All of it. No equity, no fees, no claim on your work. We are not an investor and this is not a demo day.

Can I prepare beforehand?

Research your target as much as you like. Code starts at 10:00 in an empty repo and stops at 18:00, and we look at commit history.

What do I bring?

A laptop, a charger and your own accounts. Food, coffee and sponsor credits are covered.

Can we sponsor it?

Yes. We are looking for model and compute credits, prize money and food. Write to team@harvardst.co.
